AWS Summit is returning to Poland after six years. The largest local Amazon Web Services event entirely dedicated to new technologies will take place on 6 May at the International Congress Centre (ICC), next to the Spodek in Katowice. More than 90 sessions on the latest developments in cloud innovation, partner exhibitions, 1:1 meetings with experts, presentations on the latest solutions and generative AI capabilities, on-site Amazon Web Services (AWS) training and certification.
AWS Summits are the company’s largest conferences held outside the United States. The first edition of AWS Summit in Poland took place before the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2019 in Warsaw. AWS Summit Poland is a one-day conference dedicated to cloud computing and emerging technologies, where AWS experts, customers and partners will share knowledge and best practices on cloud migration, security, generative artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, big language models and big data analytics.
The conference will be opened by Andrzej Horawa, Country Manager Poland, AWS, and the special guest of the opening session will be Dr Sherry Marcus, Director Applied Science in GenAI, AWS and representatives of Polish AWS customers.
Andrzej Horawa, Country Manager Poland, AWS argues: The future is in the cloud. And this year, it will be Katowice that will become the centre for showcasing the latest cloud solutions, including strategies based on artificial intelligence, infrastructure modernisation and digital transformation. AWS Summit Poland is also the perfect platform to build relationships within the AWS user community.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the AWS certification process and acquire such a certificate that will realistically help them acquire cloud competencies and thus advance their careers in the AI-powered digital age.
The event will be held partly in English.
